When to Apply
No countries accept applications more than 6 months before travelling, and Ireland will not accept them more than 8 weeks before.
As a general rule we recommend applying at least 3-4 weeks in advance of travelling. The standard processing time for each country varies.
However, certain nationalities should be aware that to be safe they may need to apply 2 month or more in advance, as an additional consultation process may be involved.
Processing Times
Applications can take from 1 week to over 3 weeks to process, depending on the country applied to. The standard processing time that applies for each country is given in their country information panel.
There is no express service for any EU/Schengen country. However, applications from certain nationalities can take up to 2 months or more, as an additional consultation process may be involved.
Attending in Person
Will I need to go to the embassy/visa center myself?
For most countries, yes. Nearly all EU/Schengen countries require this, as they take biometric information from you at the time the application is submitted. However, we can provide a courier to accompany, support and help our clients throughout.
